Hey guy for those who couldn't make it to class or just forgot what we cover in class, here it is what we cover in class on tuesday:
- We review previous papers talked about egocentrism and willingness of working with critics and revision.
- Went over an example of a student's final paper and his experience in taking this course.
- We also talked discuss both articles starting with Stephanie Dix
Student 1
- He was an example of recursive model where he writes and know before hand what's next.

- He also kept in mind the rhetorical triangle

Student 2
- She used a cognative process model (writen ideas in her head with text). This could be compare to Problem Solving Model("Fix").
- Proble Solving Model- to make sure the writing is in line with the message.
Student 3
- He was an example of Proofreading and the idea of linear approach.
4. Nancy Sommers in Revision Strategies
- Cognative thinking
- Recursive
Revision=Discovery
- Linear Model- have the point of what your writing beforehand
5. Compare and Contrast
Last but not least while reading all seven articles we should keep in mind
- Models or Philosophies (What are they suggesting?)
- Definitions and Strategies/Techniques (Do they work or no?)
- Students and Instructors and the role/responsability/ influence each play in revision process.
Next articles are Article six (Treglia) and seven comparison (Bardine and Fulton)
