At the beginning of class Mrs. Phillips bought up the point of doing project two, but not as she had done so originally. Instead she went ahead and done a little research on her own on a different topic, which is quite similar as last time, but different. The topic is on Review Process for Advanced Undergraduate Research, which I believe would be something positive for us as students to do...You might be asking yourself well in what is it going to help if writing has nothing to do with my major. Well that's not so, actually it might actually have to do with your major even if its not a big contribution to what you are majoring in.
Some examples, scientist all ways have to be doing some type of research to make something or to find the explanation of why something is not working the way they want it to work, for example a way to stop corrosion, cures for health problems, and so on and so forth.Engineers have to research themselves to make things work better, more efficient, and to make things a-lot easier for people all over the world.Criminal and justice majors, lawyers, and anyone else in the field has to go back and do research themselves to win major courts or to have knowledge of how actually to contribute to a case or deal with a situation.
Any ways that just my way of thinking yes I'm scared of doing this project, but hey its a challenge and something I would really like to do. I have nothing to lose, but everything to gain from it even if its' the single thought of having the experience of doing so and taking a risk that I might have a chance to get something out of it for future use.
Back on topic though she explained the article and presented us with the information of two similar papers, but had different type of revisions on them, which basically states that their is more then one way of doing things. And finally at the end of the class she went over a checklist of revision items we should look forward to using when re-vising our paper. All righty students that today's wrap up of today's discussion in class have a GOOD WEEKEND =)...SEE YA'LL MONDAY.
