hi everyone, today in class we discussed the article entitled "The Writing Approaches of University Students" on revision. we discussed the meaning of some key vocabulary from the article and the main points that we covered was the various writing approaches. these include the "elaborative", "low self-Efficiency", "reflective revision", "spontaneous-impulsive", and the last one "procedural". we talked about which method we thought we used individually and if there is a place for all of them in different situations or if there was only one correct way. there is more information about this in the article. as well just a reminder to be prepared for class on friday with the last article for group 5 on revision. also Dr. Phillips would like me to remind you that after this week there will only be one group left to present so if you feel yourself starting to get annoyed or bored with all this reading please push through it. just one more week!! :) remember the semester is almost over!!! hope this was helpful, if there are any questions please feel free to let me know and i will get back to you as fast as i can :)
